Leesburg Elementary School issued the following announcement on Jan. 24.
Fourth Grade wrapped up their Extreme Settings Unit by participating in a Survival Camp In-School Field Trip. They watched a Presentation from Mr. Greg Dudley and then were able to build their own shelter, determine what were the most important supplies to put in a Survival Pack and ate some apple cobbler made over the fire. They will use the knowledge they learned today write their own survival stories this week.
We want to send a HUGE thank you to Mr. Dudley for taking the day to come and share his expertise and knowledge with our students!
