Florida Congressman Daniel Webster announced that his office has successfully returned over $2.7 million to constituents. The funds were recovered in the form of compensation, pension, or retroactive payments from agencies such as the VA, IRS, Social Security, and Medicare.
"Providing first-class assistance to my constituents with issues involving federal agencies is one of my top priorities," said Rep. Webster. "I am pleased that we have been able to intercede on behalf of so many constituents to ensure they receive the services and compensation they have earned."
Webster's office collaborates closely with agency liaisons to assist constituents by answering questions, finding solutions, or navigating bureaucratic obstacles. A recent case involved a veteran from Laky Lake who faced delays with his appeals at the Board of Veterans Appeals. Webster's office submitted an inquiry and kept track of the process while providing regular updates. This led to a mostly favorable decision by the Veterans Law Judge, resulting in a retro payment of over $100,000 for the veteran.
