Florida Congressman Daniel Webster, R-Clermont, released a statement following the dismissal of President Trump's classified documents case by Judge Aileen Cannon.

“Today’s dismissal of the sham classified documents case against President Trump is a victory for the rule of law. I applaud Judge Aileen Cannon for recognizing the partisan overreach we’ve seen from the Department of Justice in the unconstitutional appointment of so-called ‘special counsel’ Jack Smith. As we work to unify this country, this decision exonerates President Trump and marks a significant step in ending the weaponization of the federal government and reaffirms the integrity of our legal system,” said Rep. Webster.
