On Saturday, March 22, former Montverde Academy Inc. standout Ja'Vier Francis’ current collegiate team the Houston Cougars won 81-76 against the Gonzaga Bulldogs in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in INTRUST Bank Arena, this was the first game against the Gonzaga Bulldogs during the championship.
