Florida Congressman Daniel Webster, R-Clermont, released a statement on July 21, 2024, in response to President Biden's decision not to seek another term as President of the United States.

"For years, Democrat elites have likened questioning President Biden’s ability to govern the country as an attack on democracy. Now, after being unable to provide cover for this Administration’s failed policies, Democrats have successfully subverted the will of millions of Americans by forcing President Biden to drop out of the 2024 race," said Rep. Webster.

"Make no mistake, millions of Americans have known that Biden-Harris Administration is incapable of governing the country, as their failed policies have left Americans less safe, less prosperous and abandoned around the world," he added.
