Florida Congressman Daniel Webster, R-Clermont, expressed his support for the passage of four bills aimed at assisting small businesses. "America’s small businesses are the backbone of our economy," Rep. Webster emphasized. He further added, "As a small business owner, I know firsthand the challenges small business owners face daily."

The legislation backed by Rep. Webster focuses on providing increased resources for small businesses and eliminating unnecessary burdens to facilitate economic development and job creation. The bills that successfully passed the House of Representatives this week include:

- H.R. 5333 – Investing in All of America Act, which aims to enhance access to capital for small businesses, particularly those in rural or low-income areas.

- H.R. 7103 – Agency Accountability Act, designed to hold federal agencies accountable by mandating testimony to Congress if certain goals for awarding federal contracts to small businesses are not met.

- H.R. 7985 – Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Reporting Act, requiring the Small Business Administration (SBA) to present a report to Congress on the challenges and needs encountered by entrepreneurs with disabilities when launching a business.

- H.R. 7987 – Plain Language in Contracting Act, mandating federal agencies to use clear and understandable language in federal contracts with small businesses.

Rep. Webster's advocacy for these bills underscores his commitment to supporting and empowering small businesses, recognizing their vital role in driving the nation's economy forward.
