Clermont's Earth Day and Lake Clean-Up Festival is planned for Saturday, April 22, at Lake Hiawatha Preserve. This free celebration of our planet begins with clearing litter and debris from Lake Hiawatha from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. Prizes will be awarded for the team that collects the most trash, the weirdest item and the heaviest single item.
The fun continues with multiple interactive Earth Day activities, complete with music, and that fun-loving, earth conscious frog, Eco, will make a special appearance. Bring your family and friends and join in the fun. There will also be a "Fun Day" patch that Scouts can earn. For more information, call 352-708-5989 or visit https://www.clermontfl.gov/254/Events
