Lake-Sumter State College issued the following announcement on Feb. 21.
We're kicking off our 60th Anniversary Alumni Speaker Series on February 28 at 6pm with Rod Price '80. Rod holds the Guinness World Record for the fastest time to canoe the length of the Mississippi River as part of a four-person team.
Rod will share stories from his lifetime of adventures, including from his latest book, "Chasing History on the Mississippi River". This event is FREE and open to the public!
