Eustis Heights Elementary issued the following announcement on Jan. 17.
We honor the life and service of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We are incredibly thankful for Dr. King's love, leadership, and action, and for his legacy that still lives on today. Because of his influence, our school walls are filled with diversity, strength, and beauty; our teachers and staff can come together to serve ALL children in our community, guaranteeing all students a high quality education.
Our world, nation, and schools are a better place because of the life he led. Let us live by his example, not only today, but everyday. Act with service and lead with love.
