Astronaut High School issued the following announcement on Oct. 05.
Family, alumni, and community near and far: Would you be a Lunch Angel for our students for as little as $2.50? We never want our students to go hungry or miss a lunch due to them not being able to afford or forgetting their lunch. All students receive FREE breakfast but no longer do all students receive free lunch. Regular school lunch costs $2.50 a day. Over the past few weeks we have exhausted the funds available in the donation account for students. We won’t let our students go without lunch!!!
If you are willing to be a Lunch Angel, please bring cash or check to the Astronaut High School front office or mail to 800 War Eagle Blvd, Titusville, FL 32754. Please write AHS Lunch Angel in the memo line.
