AHS Announcements Week of 8/29:
We are very excited to share in the historical experience of the launch of Artemis 1 mission to the Moon! While we know that traffic will be very heavy in the morning, we ask that everyone do their best to plan ahead for a safe and timely arrival at school. We will ALL be sharing in the viewing of Artemis at Astronaut High School to ensure every student and staff member on our campus can celebrate this launch together so please dress accordingly for the warm weather. Previously, Dr. Mullins announced that if you decide to keep your student home for the launch tomorrow that the absence will be parent excused. Please keep in mind that each student is allowed up to 9 parent excused or unexcused absences each semester. We fully respect each families individual decisions for tomorrow! Please be safe on the roads and we look forward to welcoming all of our students and staff, as well as encourage NASA/Artemis themed shirts!
Families, please SAVE THE DATE for the College and Career Fair on Wednesday, September 28th from 6-8pm at The Great Outdoors. The College and Career Fair is sponsored by Titusville Area Chamber of Commerce and ALL our students, grades 9-12, and families are encouraged to attend. There will be over 50 colleges and universities on site to discuss post-secondary education options - there will be workshops to provide information on FAFSA, Soft Skills, how to stand out in a sea of college applicants, and there will be career options, including the hottest jobs on the Space Coast. Our counselors and administrators will be on site to help navigate the evening! We hope to see everyone Wednesday, September 28th from 6-8pm at The Great Outdoors.
