Lake-Sumter State College issued the following announcement on Aug. 27.
We love showcasing our alumni who are doing big things in their community! Like many students, Christine Boodhoo's path to earning a degree took some unexpected turns. She stayed focused on her goals, completed law enforcement training at Lake Technical College , and earned both an associate and bachelor degree from LSSC. She's a Detective Corporal at Groveland PD and credits her education experiences for advancing her career.
“Continuing your education shows that you’re determined, motivated, and committed to growing as a person and a professional," she says.
