Lake County Schools issued the following announcement on Jun 04.
Gov. Ron DeSantis has announced the appointment of Tyler Brandeburg to the School Board of Lake County. Brandeburg, of Leesburg, is a Commercial Insurance Advisor for Brown and Brown. He volunteers with the Education Foundation of Lake County and is a member of Leadership Lake County Class of 2019.
Brandeburg earned his bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Florida. He will fill a vacancy left by the recent resignation of former board member Kristi Burns, Ph.D., holding the seat until the November election.
