Lake Technical College issued the following announcement on Nov. 21.
Last Wednesday the Fire Fighter/EMT Combo Class #129 completed the fire portion of their program and moved on to EMT. The ceremony was dedicated to Fire Recruit Malik Smith who recently passed away just prior to graduation.
He was an amazing young man, with an infectious smile and the LTC Fire Fighting instructors and students were humbled to honor him during the ceremony. You will always and forever be part of the brotherhood, Malik!
