Lake County Schools issued the following announcement on Oct. 12.
The Lake County School Board this week recognized middle and high schools that earned STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) School recognition by participating in STEAM related competitions and the school science fair, hosting STEAM family nights, inviting industry certified professional speakers and conducting at least four collaborative problem-solving learning experiences integrating technology, among other criteria.
Middle school honorees were East Ridge, Eustis, Gray, Umatilla and Windy Hill. High school honorees were South Lake and East Ridge. Congratulations to all!
