Astronaut High School issued the following announcement on Aug. 11.
Dr. Timothy Hawthorne, who is a UCF Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology and is also associated with Citizen Science, National Geographic, and the National Science Foundation, stopped by AHS today.
He showcased drone technology as well as spoke to students and teachers about how to utilize this technology in and outside the classroom in order to enhance the learning opportunities here at Astronaut High School through research, media, and science.
