City of Tavares issued the following announcement on Oct. 22
Former and current City Council members gathered together and commemorated the 10th anniversary of Tavares Seaplane Base and Marina. These visionary council members also participated in a groundbreaking ceremony for the rebuilding of the Seaplane Base and Marina which was destroyed by Hurricane Irma. The re-build project is funded by an insurance settlement.
