On Wednesday, April 9, former East Ridge High School standout Madi Wicker’s current college team, the Mercer Bears, won 3-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Kennesaw State Owls.
The game took place at Sikes Field. This was their first matchup against the Owls this season.
The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 1 p.m. at Betty Basler Field against East Tennessee State Buccaneers.
