On Tuesday, April 22, former Montverde Academy standout Makayla Navarro’s current college team, the Wichita State Shockers, won 15-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Kansas City Roos.
The game took place at Wilkins Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Roos this season.
The Shockers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 25 at 5 p.m. at Wilkins Stadium against Charlotte 49ers.
