On Thursday, Feb. 27, former Montverde Academy standout Makayla Navarro’s current college team, the Wichita State Shockers, lost 11-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Oklahoma State Cowgirls.
The game took place at Wilkins Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Cowgirls this season.
The Shockers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 5:30 p.m. at Wilkins Stadium against Missouri Tigers.
