On Sunday, March 9, former Montverde Academy standout Makayla Navarro’s current college team, the Wichita State Shockers, lost 5-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Florida Atlantic Owls.
The game took place at FAU Softball Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Owls this season.
The Shockers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 12 at 5 p.m. at Arrocha Ballpark against Kansas Jayhawks.
