On Sunday, March 2, former Montverde Academy standout Yani Guzman’s current college team, the Florida Atlantic Owls, won 9-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Morehead State Eagles.
The game took place at Cathi Maynard Park. This was their second matchup against the Eagles this season.
The Owls’ next game is scheduled for Monday, March 3 at 6 p.m. at Blue Raider Softball Field against Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders.
