On Sunday, Feb. 16, former East Ridge High School standout Corey Battey’s current college team, the Prairie View A&M Panthers, lost 12-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Southern Jaguars.
The game took place at Daikin Park. This was their first matchup against the Jaguars this season.
The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 12 a.m. at John W. Tankersley Field against Texas College Steers.
