On Saturday, Feb. 15, former East Ridge High School standout Mckenna Demartino’s current college team, the Tampa Spartans, won 5-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Saint Leo Lions.
The game took place at Naimoli Family Softball Field. This was their third matchup against the Lions this season.
The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 6 p.m. at Spanish River Athletic Park against Lynn Fighting Knights.
