On Saturday, April 5, former Montverde Academy standout Makayla Navarro’s current college team, the Wichita State Shockers, lost 4-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UAB Blazers.
The game took place at Mary Bowers Field. This was their third matchup against the Blazers this season.
The Shockers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 6 p.m. at Wilkins Stadium against East Carolina Pirates.
