On Sunday, March 23, former Montverde Academy standout Derik Queen’s current collegiate team the Maryland Terrapins won 72-71 against the Colorado State Rams in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Climate Pledge Arena, this was the first game against the Colorado State Rams during the championship.

Derik Queen’s hometown is Baltimore and game position is center.
