On Saturday, April 26, former Montverde Academy standout Makayla Navarro’s current college team, the Wichita State Shockers, won 9-6 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Charlotte 49ers.
The game took place at Wilkins Stadium. This was their third matchup against the 49ers this season.
The Shockers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 30 at 6 p.m. at Wilkins Stadium against Kansas Jayhawks.
