On Friday, Feb. 28, former Montverde Academy standout Makayla Navarro’s current college team, the Wichita State Shockers, lost 10-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Missouri Tigers.
The game took place at Wilkins Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.
The Shockers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 12:30 p.m. at Wilkins Stadium against South Dakota State Jackrabbits.
