On Friday, Feb. 28, former Montverde Academy standout John Martinez’s current college team, the Florida Atlantic Owls, won 5-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Fordham Rams.
The game took place at FAU Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Rams this season.
The Owls’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 4 p.m. at FAU Stadium against Fordham Rams.
