On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Montverde Academy standouts Matthew Heyl and Salvador Alvarez’s current college team, the Stetson Hatters, won 9-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Missouri Tigers.

The game took place at Parque Yldefonso Solá Morales. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Hatters’ next game is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 17 at 10 a.m. at Estadio Francisco Montaner against Michigan Wolverines.
