On Monday, Feb. 17, former Montverde Academy standouts Matthew Heyl and Salvador Alvarez’s current college team, the Stetson Hatters, lost 6-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Michigan Wolverines.

The game took place at Estadio Francisco Montaner. This was their first matchup against the Wolverines this season.

The Hatters’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 6:30 p.m. at Melching Field at Conrad Park against UMBC Retrievers.
