On Friday, March 14, former Montverde Academy standouts Matthew Heyl and Salvador Alvarez’s current college team, the Stetson Hatters, lost 14-12 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles.

The game took place at Melching Field at Conrad Park. This was their first matchup against the Coast Eagles this season.

The Hatters’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 6:30 p.m. at Melching Field at Conrad Park against Florida Gulf Coast Eagles.
