On Sunday, March 9, former Montverde Academy standout Yani Guzman’s current college team, the Florida Atlantic Owls, won 5-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Wichita State Shockers.
The game took place at FAU Softball Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Shockers this season.
The Owls’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 5:30 p.m. at Mary Bowers Field against UAB Blazers.
