On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Montverde Academy standout Yani Guzman’s current college team, the Florida Atlantic Owls, won 5-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Stetson Hatters.
The game took place at Patricia Wilson Field. This was their second matchup against the Hatters this season.
The Owls’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 10:30 a.m. at Cathi Maynard Park against Morehead State Eagles.
