On Sunday, March 16, former Montverde Academy standout Makayla Navarro’s current college team, the Wichita State Shockers, won 9-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the North Texas Mean Green.
The game took place at Wilkins Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Mean Green this season.
The Shockers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 19 at 5 p.m. at Bobcat Softball Stadium against Texas State Bobcats.
