On Sunday, March 2, former Montverde Academy standout Makayla Navarro’s current college team, the Wichita State Shockers, lost 6-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the South Dakota State Jackrabbits.
The game took place at Wilkins Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Jackrabbits this season.
The Shockers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 6:05 p.m. at FAU Softball Stadium against Florida Atlantic Owls.
