On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Montverde Academy standout Makayla Navarro’s current college team, the Wichita State Shockers, lost 15-5 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Florida State Seminoles.
The game took place at Eddie C. Moore Softball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Seminoles this season.
The Shockers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 12:30 p.m. at Love’s Field against Bowling Green Falcons.
