On Wednesday, March 5, former Montverde Academy standout Jorge Bello’s current college team, the Alabama State Hornets, lost 1-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Mercer Bears.
The game took place at Wheeler–Watkins Baseball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Bears this season.
The Hornets’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Dusty Rhodes Field at Harmon Stadium against North Florida Ospreys.
