On Sunday, March 2, former Montverde Academy standout Angel Lopez’s current college team, the Bethune–Cookman Wildcats, won 30-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks.

The game took place at Jackie Robinson Ballpark. This was their fourth matchup against the Hawks this season.

The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 5 at 4 p.m. at Mike Martin Field at Dick Howser Stadium against Florida State Seminoles.
