On Monday, Feb. 24, former Montverde Academy standout Makayla Navarro’s current college team, the Wichita State Shockers, won 10-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Abilene Christian Wildcats.
The game took place at Love’s Field. This was their second matchup against the Wildcats this season.
The Shockers’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 27 at 5 p.m. at Wilkins Stadium against Oklahoma State Cowgirls.
