On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Montverde Academy standouts Matthew Heyl and Salvador Alvarez’s current college team, the Stetson Hatters, lost 7-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Iowa Hawkeyes.

The game took place at Melching Field at Conrad Park. This was their first matchup against the Hawkeyes this season.

The Hatters’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 1:30 p.m. at Melching Field at Conrad Park against Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
