On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Montverde Academy standouts Matthew Heyl and Salvador Alvarez’s current college team, the Stetson Hatters, won 8-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Penn State Nittany Lions.

The game took place at Parque Yldefonso Solá Morales. This was their first matchup against the Nittany Lions this season.

The Hatters’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 16 at 12 p.m. at Parque Yldefonso Solá Morales against Missouri Tigers.
