On Wednesday, March 12, former East Ridge High School standout Madi Wicker’s current college team, the Mercer Bears, won 8-6 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Georgia State Panthers.

The game took place at Bob Heck Softball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Panthers this season.

The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 19 at 5 p.m. at UWG Softball Field against West Georgia Wolves.
