On Wednesday, Feb. 26, former East Ridge High School standout Madi Wicker’s current college team, the Mercer Bears, won 4-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Georgia Southern Eagles.

The game took place at Sikes Field. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 5:30 p.m. at JoAnne Graf Field at the Seminole Softball Complex against Florida State Seminoles.
