On Tuesday, March 11, former Montverde Academy standout Jorge Bello’s current college team, the Alabama State Hornets, won 7-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Mercer Bears.
The game took place at OrthoGeorgia Park at Claude Smith Field. This was their second matchup against the Bears this season.
The Hornets’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 6 p.m. at Lee-Hines Stadium against Southern Jaguars.
