On Wednesday, March 5, former Montverde Academy standout John Martinez’s current college team, the Florida Atlantic Owls, lost 4-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Florida Gators.
The game took place at Condron Family Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Gators this season.
The Owls’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 6:30 p.m. at FIU Baseball Stadium against FIU Golden Panthers.
