On Friday, March 7, former Montverde Academy standout John Martinez’s current college team, the Florida Atlantic Owls, lost 7-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the FIU Golden Panthers.
The game took place at FIU Baseball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Golden Panthers this season.
The Owls’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 4 p.m. at FAU Stadium against FIU Golden Panthers.
