On Friday, March 21, former Montverde Academy standout John Martinez’s current college team, the Florida Atlantic Owls, won 9-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Rice Owls.

The game took place at FAU Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Owls this season.

The Owls’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 4 p.m. at FAU Stadium against Rice Owls.
