On Friday, March 21, former Montverde Academy standout Janiah Barker’s current collegiate team the UCLA Bruins won 84-46 against the Southern Lady Jaguars in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.
Hosted in Pauley Pavilion, this was the first game against the Southern Lady Jaguars during the championship.
The UCLA Bruins’ next game will take place on Sunday, March 23 at 7 p.m. in Pauley Pavilion against Richmond Spiders.
Janiah Barker’s hometown is Marietta and game position is forward.
