On Friday, April 11, former Montverde Academy standout Makayla Navarro’s current college team, the Wichita State Shockers, won 11-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the East Carolina Pirates.
The game took place at Wilkins Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Pirates this season.
The Shockers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 6 p.m. at Wilkins Stadium against East Carolina Pirates.
